July Coffee House On Friday July 9, Dean Robert performed at our monthly coffee house.  He and Tom played for about an hour doing several covers and a number of Dean's own songs.
Meriden Bike Rodeo On Saturday June 5, we participated again in the Meriden Bike Rodeo.  We raffled off a free bicycle and the child who won the bike mentioned just before we drew the winning ticket how badly he wanted to win since he had outgrown his current bike.
Praxis Mens retreat On March 26-28, 10 of our men went to Grotonwood Camp in Massachusetts for our annual mens retreat. Our theme this year was on Elijah and seeking after God. It was a great time of getting to know one another more deeply and learning to be in the presence of God.
Praxis Benefit Concert On March 19 Ryan Baker and Band held a benefit concert to raise support for Praxis Church.  Special guest Dean Robert opened up with a few of his songs.  We were treated to an amazing night of music.
Gift-wrapping Outreach On December 19 we offered free gift-wrapping to people in our community.  The newspaper announced it and we had several people standing out on Route 5 holding signs that said free gift-wrapping.  We had a lot of fun together.
Black Friday Coffee Outreach Once again we headed out on the day after thanksgiving to hand out free coffee to those waiting in line to try to get a bargain at the big sales.  We went to the Westfield Mall in Meriden and to the Best Buy store in North Haven.  Our desire was to be a blessing to the people standing in line and to help change their perspective on church.
